Our focus is to:
- Work directly with people with disabilities as allies and partners.
- Approach all work with people with disabilities or other audiences with this in mind: “Nothing about me, without me. Nothing about us, without us.”
- Champion accessible online learning.
- Model by example.
- Support clients with accessible learning projects/products.
- Hire and engage people with disabilities to consult on projects as part of our services.
We are committed to optimizing learning experience in these ways:
- Optimized for people who use screen-reader technology.
- All content can be navigated using a keyboard (keyboard shortcuts).
- Links, headings, and tables are formatted to work with screen readers.
- Images have alt tags.
- Information is not conveyed by colour alone.
- There is an option to increase font size (see tab on top right of screen).
- Prioritized use of plain language.
- Consultation with neurodiverse audiences in content and format.
