Leah Chang Learning (LCL) is a women-led digital consulting agency providing end-to-end learning strategy, design and development services. 

We create engaging learning experiences for cause-driven nonprofits, government organizations, and businesses across Canada and the US.

About the role

  • This is a fully remote opportunity, open to candidates located in Canada.
  • Flexible scheduling options are available!
    • Part-time option:
      • 20-25 hours per week
      • Company paid partial benefits package (after passing probation)
    • Full-time option:
      • 35 hours per week
      • Company paid comprehensive benefits package (after passing probation)
  • Candidates must be available during LCL core working hours (8am or 9am-12 or 1pm PST, Monday-Friday).
  • The successful candidate will need to provide their own equipment (laptop, phone, secure wifi, etc.) and working space.

What you’ll bring

Requirements

  • Post secondary education, preferably in Project Management or Business Administration
  • Three years’ relevant work experience as a client-facing project manager, implementation manager, digital producer, or customer success manager, preferably in a creative agency, consultancy, or media production organization, and/or within one of the following industries:
    • Healthcare
    • Nonprofit
    • Government
    • Technology/SaaS
  • PMP, Agile or Change Management certification, or related professional development

Skillset

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Highly adept at working in Google Docs and utilizing digital project management software (e.g. ClickUp, Asana, Trello).
  • Self-motivated, with proactive communication skills to collaborate effectively as part of an asynchronous, remote-first team.
  • Methodical approach to problem solving, with high attention to detail.
  • Commitment to principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ability to adopt and follow LCL templates and processes, provide feedback for future optimizations and improvements.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Drive scope and develop detailed project plans for a variety of learning technology consulting and resource development projects.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects for multiple clients, tracking timelines and milestones to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Compile project financial reports, prepare budgets and coordinate invoicing.

LCL Team Experience & Executive Management

  • Meet with CEO and Director of Projects to coordinate and record progress on project related work
  • Track and follow up with the LCL consulting team regarding progress on deliverables, ensure all internal communications and notes are well documented.
  • Assist in developing operational processes to improve internal operations supporting the client journey.
  • Provide regular status reports to the LCL leadership team, client and 3rd parties

Client Experience Management & Client Relations

  • Organize and book all meetings with clients, prepare slide decks and presentations, lead meetings, and document any decisions and action items. 
  • Take ownership of the client experience, ensuring the client receives the value promised in the contract, and build a relationship for future business development.
  • Manage all communication touchpoints with the client, including kickoff calls, reviews of work in progress, project updates, and handover of final deliverables.
  • Bring forward any concerns about project scope, lack of progress, or changes in client expectations and assist in developing strategies to manage project risks.
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors to assist in launching the client’s project successfully.
  • Regularly reach out to clients between projects to maintain relationships and awareness of their upcoming projects and priorities.
